There was an Obama campaign ad making fun of McCain's disability and it is alleged that Mr. Dion has a hearing problem. But, seriously if you can't do the job...or at least can't articulate how you would do the job, you shouldn't get the job.
Not that Dion believes in the merit principle....

Yep, it would seem that Kinsella's playing the disability card on this one too.
There was no disability involved unless not being to understand English is now a disabilty for a guy running to be PM.
I teach English in Nanjing, China to first and second year Chinese College students. I believe most of my students would be able to understand that question. Probably a quarter of them would be able to answer it better than Dion did.
I think I'll do an experiment next week and ask my students a similar question. I'm really curious if Chinese students can speak English better then the potential leader of Canada.
